Set in the splendour of the sixth floor of The Varsity Hotel, this Cambridge restaurant with floor to ceiling windows ensures spectacular views of the historic skyline. Our Executive Chef remains faithful to the combination of finger sandwiches, deliciously warm scones with clotted cream, Jam and a selection of cakes.

For an added luxury, guests can enjoy a chilled glass of Champagne alongside a traditional afternoon tea in Cambridge city centre. Our master tea blenders have carefully selected teas that will complement your food.

We can cater for vegetarian and gluten free Afternoon Tea. We are unable to offer vegan and diary free options, however, there are vegan and dairy free dishes available on our a la carte menu.

Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, wedding gifts or just a simple thank you, our Afternoon tea gift experiences make the perfect gift for that special occasion.

Decide between our Traditional or Luxury Champagne afternoon tea, both consisting of a selection of sandwiches, warm scones, homemade cakes and speciality teas. Available to purchase online, all our vouchers can be received via email, post or SMS for your convenience.

We can cater for large parties and afternoon tea celebrations of up to 120.
